About Full Circle Food Outreach

Full Circle Food Outreach is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization based in Wesley Chapel, Florida that provides backpacks filled with healthy, easy to prepare food for students who are dependent on free or reduced school meals. Our goal is to support a child’s development and educational experience by bridging the gap between school meals during weekends.

Our mission is to remove the negative impacts of hunger, and empower a child to get the most out of their education and development by providing them weekly access to healthy, easy to prepare meals.

Serve All
We offer services to every student in the schools we serve. All students on a free or reduced meal plan are automatically approved for enrollment in our program. Any student who is not part of the lunch program can apply for enrollment in our program and will be approved on a first come – first serve basis, as funds allow. We do not ask our students or families to verify income. If a student is hungry, we believe they should be provided food. We also maintain open enrollment in our program, as we understand that school populations change, as do the needs of the communities we serve.

Focus on Health
We work to align all aspects of our organization with opportunities to ensure each backpack provided includes healthy grains, fruits, vegetables, and protein so our students and their families can easily prepare the healthiest meal possible.

Encourage Volunteerism
We aim strengthen our volunteer-base daily, which brings new ideas, energy, support, and love into our organization. It is our goal to provide our community with a local, positive, hands-on volunteer experience. We welcome volunteers of all ages and encourage student and team volunteerism. Our volunteer base packs and distributes food, organizes our pantry, and supports our events. We depend on our volunteers to help make our work possible.

Meet the Team

Full Circle Food Outreach was founded in 2018 by two concerned parents and a dedicated teacher. After seeing a need in their elementary school and previously volunteering with a backpack program in Northwest Florida, the three put their heads together and decided to offer a backpack program to local students in need.
